“ Longing “
I sit and listen quietly,
To talk about children and pregnancies,
All the while its hurting me,
Because I long for my own baby.
Some days it doesn’t hurt as much,
And it can be sweet,
When I make myself believe,
I don’t need to hear the patter of little feet.
I am coming to terms,
With my empty womb,
And with the fact,
That I may never use the baby’s room.
But there are still days that come,
When I keep longing for,
Someone to call me MUM.

“ Friends “
I will be there for you,
So, take my hand,
If you fall or don’t know what to do,
I will hold you and help you stand.
I will listen to your wishes,
And if you fall into the dirt,
I'll be there with lots of kisses,
To pick you up and heal the hurt.
I'll be there when you are happy and glad,
I'll always be there for you,
Especially when you’re upset and sad,
Because that’s what friend's do.

“ Invisible “
Some times, I feel invisible,
And don’t know what to do,
I feel like I'm made of glass,
And people just look through.
We all want to be liked,
And for others to notice us,
I don’t want to be the centre of attention,
Or have people make a fuss.
I just want people to acknowledge,
What I say or try,
Because feeling invisible,
Just makes me want to die.

~ Men of the fellowship ~
Nine are bound by one ring,
With joy, hardships and suffering.
A wizard, 4 hobbits, a dwarf, 2 men and an elf,
Each willing to give of himself.
The ring it must be destroyed you see,
If middle-earth is to be free.
Gandalf, Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Merry,
Boromir, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli.
So the fellowship of the ring they are,
And they must journey far.
Into danger, they go to make a stand,
And destroy the evil that shadows the land.
By their tale, we are fascinated,
Or by their looks, we are captivated.
Be it the character or the actor for us,
Of them, we can’t get enough.
So we all join here for just one thing,
To talk about these men of the ring.

Take a look at me
Do you see
The lonely girl
In this world
Waiting for my knight
The man who is so right
The one that will love me
Completely and unconditionally
I look out into the dark
And feel the ache in my heart
But somewhere out there
Is a man who will one day care
Until then, I’ll be a lonely girl

“ Always be me “
I watch the clouds go by
On this cold July day
And I ask myself why
Was I born to look this way
I want to be beautiful and thin
With long flowing hair
And smooth satin skin
Then maybe someone will care
You never see a movie star
With someone like me
You can look near and far
But its not meant to be
So I’m on the outside looking in
Because being nice isn’t enough
Its beauty that will win
Men never look at me and fall in love
So I wish I was beautiful and thin
With long flowing hair
And smooth satin skin
Then maybe someone will care
But what’s the point in dreaming
Of what Id like to be
When nothing can change the fact
That I’ll always be me.
